As I can see from my dash being pissed off that Amy Poehler didn’t win (despite her being generally FLAWLESS) I do feel the need to remind everyone that the Golden Globes are a total sham.

All buying into the notion that if you get as few as 25 votes from this ramshackle collection of journalists, you get a trophy and you get to go onstage and bask in the applause from your fellow celebrities, knowing there will now be even more Oscar buzz surrounding you.

Seriously, they’re full of shit. They deserve all the vitriol, for not acknowledging great work AND for being a total sham.
